I absolutely love fresh fruit and vegetables. The flavors are tremendous. However, for detoxifying, it is important to know that you cannot consume just and I mean just any type of juice. The purpose of a detox is to cleanse your body and expel toxins that have accumulated throughout the years. You cannot successfully do this if you continue to consume juices with unnatural additives. For that reason, only consume organic or all-natural juice. With that said, you still have many options.
Just for the purposes of people who do not have a juicer or claim they do not have the time to juice, then, you can consume all-natural juices which are sold in many grocery stores. Look for a label that states the product is certified organic and no sugar added. This is proof that you are drinking a 100% all natural juice. For an easier approach, shop at a specialty organic food store, where all food and drinks are natural.
Believe me when I say this, although bottled and organic, they are not fresh and the natural live enzymes are dead, killed by pasteurization. Therefore, fresh is always best.
2 pink lady apples (take out the seeds, cut off very thin layer of skin if not organic)
1 cucumber (peel if not organic)
1/4 fresh lemon (peel off the skin if not organic)
red bell pepper is a wonderful option (cannot peel, just wash very well)
